Arbor press?

Can you guys recommend a good arbor press to use with Wilson seating dies that wont destroy the bank account ? Also would you recommend buying a blank seating die over one of their finished ones?

Sinclair arbor press works very well for me.
 
21st century works good for me in .308 & 6.5 CM. Dies are standard issue with micro top but micro is not necessary.

I’m told Hood makes a good one also
 
Its an arbor press. Not much to write home about. Unless you want to measure seating force, I cant see theres much difference. A friend let me try a 21st century, and I cant say as though I liked it. Its hard to determine when final seating hits and the die stops moving. I have been using a regular one to feel the difference. Using the 21st century removes that, as it has a cushiony feel. I prefer to go by feel. I use a k&m I got on sale. I havent tried their stack of washers they use with an indicator, but Id much rather go by feel. The hand dies do all the work.

EDIT: Not saying that to sound like a jerk, I just dont think too much thought should be put into it ;)
 
Running both the Sinclair and a B-square. B-square definitely built like a tank, but not as easily adjustable as the Sinclair. If I had to settle on one, it would be the sinclair.
 
I have a 12 ton shop press from Harbor Freight. It's not the perfect tool for any of these jobs but with an assortment of various tubes, rods, and sockets I have been able to use to r&r control arm bushings, ball joints, sub-frame bushings, and bearing races.

IMHO, an arbor press is limited in what it can do because of it's size. What do you want to use it for?
 
Check Grizzly Industrial for the Bald Eagle Arbor press. I have been using mine for almost 3 years without any problems.
 
Started with the Sinclair..still have it, went to the K&M with dial gauge..Nice..bought the 21 century too see if it was better than the K&M..IMO..No..the gauge read in 2lbs, where the K&M reads in 1lb. Easier too read,
I highly recommend the K&M with the force gauge about $190
 
Nothing fancy, this has worked for me. Not sure of its age or brand (maybe Lyman) I believe it was some type of shotgun shell press. $10 and some time cleaning it. It is more than heavy enough for seating bullets with good feel and operates smoothly.

Just thought I would share.

21st century hydro press, that is all I use.
 
K&M is under $100 at Bruno’s. It has good feel for seating force. As far as dies go. If your shooting a standard cartridge that Wilson makes a die for, then they’re fine. My opinion is that the blanks are for someone doing a wildcat cartridge.
