Arbor adapters for a threaded press???

Does anybody make adapters to use hand dies in a normal press???

Buy a cheap arbor press and get the advantage of the hand dies - sensitivity to the seating process.

I've not heard of anyone making such a thing commercially. If you have a buddy with a lathe he should be able to make what you need in an hour or two. Of course, if you have to pay for two hours of a machinists time you'd be better to go the route that W69 suggested.

Thanks, I have a lathe but cant do threads, small arbor is the way to go.

The Harrell brothers also make a "standard" style press that can be used with hand dies. I believe it comes with two rams, one for sizing, and the other for seating.

It also sells for around 250.00.
