ARA beginners, be sure to check the reticle specifics before you offer to buy here

I know this should go absolutely without saying and I KNOW better, but I was so excited to after two years of trial and failure to find FINALLY what I thought was THE PERFECT scope for me that LITERALLY checked EVERY single box except one for shooting 50 yard ARA green monster targets, only to find out only AFTER I made an offer to buy that the reticle was the same one I already had on a rifle scope and the target dot is to small at .09 for my eyesight.
I will be putting up for sale shortly two Athlon Argos scopes, one Athlon Helos, one Vortex Venom, one Hawke Sidewinder and possibly one Swift that I bought in hopes they would be FOR ME a great ARA 50 yard BR scope but none were acceptable.

So for those just starting out be absolutely sure you find all aspects of your scopes reticle acceptable before you buy new or offer to buy used at a WS like this one.

Admittedly a true greenhorn flubup-Duh Homer moment on my part.

It’s not unusual to have other shooters allow you to take a peek thru their scopes. In most cases there are multiple types of scopes being used with people using what works best for them. This can be very helpful in determining what path to take.
