needing loads with CFE223 for a r15 223 have never used this powder will be loading 40grnosler 52gramax 69sierria and 80gr berger is this a good powder for all the above THANKS

55 nosler varmeggedons and and magnum 450 primer with a close to max charge of cfe223. tends to ruin small critters days

Using someones pet loads could be disasterous if to hot for your rifle. Start low and work up. I just read a thread on another site and the guy started at the top with an unknown commercial powder and blew 3 primers and more than likely ruined his bolt face in the bargain. If you are a experienced reloader you know to start low and never to use loads not found in a book. The book publishers always err on the side of safety but it doesn't always apply. So be careful working up with this newer powder looking for signs of pressure.

took your advice and done a ladder test all loads 25. to 26.1 where i stopped shot very good with 69 sierra HBN coated loaded to mag length last speed 2955 out of a 22" 1in8 kierger barrel THANKS
