AR10 6.5CM Brass resize oddity

6.5CM, Lee FL dies. Fired factory ammo. Fired case measures 1.551 with hornady comparitor. I took the bolt apart so i could check headspace. Cleaned the chamber. Im having to bump it .0085 so the bolt will turn in the barrel lugs. None of the other ar stuff i have is like that.
Any easy way to figure out if its a die issue or chamber issue, without having to buy a new die?

bolt closes on the forester no go, but not with a slice of clear tape on the gauge, for reference.

closes on the forester no go ?
Yes. Just barely. Its still shorter than field, which i know it wont close on.
Sammi spec is pretty loose.

Looking at the brass, it looks like it was a rough chamber job, theres a small ring mark in the middle of the shoulder thats showing up.

If the die is moving the shoulder back, its doing what it is supposed to. Doesn't sound like a die issue.
Check how long your gauges are with the comparator so you have something to compare the case too.

When you took the bolt apart, you did remove the ejector?

The ring on the shoulder of the chamber, does it look like a scratch or a burr? Polish chamber.

Gauge was showing .003 short iirc. Not a big deal as im sizing brass for that chamber and that one only.

Yes removed the ejector, kept the extractor for easy removal of gauge or cases.

Ill take a pic, its like the cutter was chipped or dragging a burr. Kinda rough. I might try polishing, i have done that before on other barrels.

Turn gas off. Fire factory round. Measure...... Long head to datum measurement, because action is over gased, opening to soon..

Brand of bolt and barrel should be same for best chamber headspacing.

Gas might have been off, but i dont remember. Its got an AGB.

Bolt and barrel came together.

Once fired factory. Necks aren't dented like it was hitting the upper on the way out so they're likely shot with the gas off

Well, after that i remebered they had a no reload clause in the warranty.
This barrel was a warranty deal for poor accuracy and the bolt pierced factory ammo.
If i want to push back the shoulder more each time or dont reload for it, its fine. I bought a eabco 22" barrel on sale today, ill try my luck with that.

Reloads didn't cause the issue, poor manufacturing did. Send that back and make them do it right.

Finally got around to asking BCA about replacing the barrel. I asked if i could just send the barrel back and they were ok with that.
I told them i wanted to replace it because the chamber neck looked like it was cut with a drill bit
