AR in 204 Ruger

Has anyone worked up loads for 204 in an AR ? My son bought one and the loads we worked up for bolt action , are two long for magazine . I have set these back to fit magazine but haven't shot them. Thought I would ask if anyone had worked loads just for AR. Thanks for any loads.

I am intersested in this also. I recently loaded some 300 Blackout rounds and each of 3 powders ran 100-120fps faster in the S&W AR than in the SPS 700 both having 16" tubes. I would have thought the bolt gun to be faster if any diffferent at all. ES from 8-12 and good groups but the 2 stage 5lb trigger on the AR will have to go if I'm going to get serious about it.

I just threaded and chambered a 204R in an AR a few weeks ago, the factory OAL worked fine with most of the loads. When I drilled the gas port I opened it up and installed an adjustable block so I can run higher pressures than a non-regulated block. I was almost able to match the bolt gun loads and still have positive non aggressive ejections. I was using XBR8208 with 40gr VMax bullets.
