AR barrels and chamberings

Anyone know of a smith best at turning and chambering AR barrels? Im looking for someone that can turn blanks and chamber with whatever reamer I settle on. With compass lake not taking civilian orders, and White oak not doing anything off of the grendel case, that leaves the only two options that I recalled.

Also, the only place I found that sells blanks is x caliber.

I'd like a 30 grendel or 30ARX and a couple others that you don't typically find chambered. I sold a couple uppers a while back and have some lowers that need mating. So I figured I'd try something out of the ordinary

When I did it, I would order 1.050 diameter straight blanks. Might have a couple of 7t 22cal Bartlein blanks left in the rack. The biggest pain is locating the gas port in a groove. Some people seem to think it matters even if the grooves are narrower than the hole.

Awesome, thank you! I was under the impression that the extension was integral and that many barrel makers only did them for mass production like criterion or shilen. Glad I asked. I'm going to give him a call on Monday.

Anyway, John smithed my Shilen .22 A2/A4 trainer, with my barrel, reamer, specs, etc., even though I am
annoying.

He also chambered and set up my A2 for Long Range and Palma.

I’ve had 15-20 barrels chambered for my ARs . I’ve had the best experience with Craddock Precision and Compass Lake Engineering. Precision Firearms also does good work. I only had keystone chamber one barrel for me a Krieger 6.5cm. It was my worst experience of any. By far…

I have not had trouble with the actual machining.
