AR 45 ACP load info?

DDRanch

Silver $$ Contributor
Starting to play with a AR 45ACP in both 10" and 16" barrels.
Going to start out with some 230gr Extreme bullets and 4.6gr to 4.8gr T-group.
Thoughts/Suggestions?

The Thompson, and M3 “Grease Gun” SMG’s of WWII had longer bbls firing the standard 230 gr Ball & Tracer rounds of the era; you should be good to fire the loads as listed in manuals and Hodgdon’s Handloading data site.
As 243Winxb states, working up is always wise and prudent when working with anything new.
Love my 9MM Carbines, especially with suppressors; but none in .45 ACP (yet);).
