AR-15 after market triggers

Geissele, hands down. You can go straight to his web site or just google geissele triggers and many sellers will pop up. I recommend looking at his web site first to determine which one will best suit your needs.

I'm using a CMC single stage trigger in all of mine. They break at 3 lbs, which may not be as light as you want for target, but I like them.

+2 (both my ARs have Geissele) buy once, cry once and then enjoy for the life of your rifle.

+3 2 of my sons and myself have the Geissele triggers. I buy mine from John Holliger at White Oak Armament.

I have used them all, to me the AR Gold is it, then CMC, and any of the Geissele "E" model, anything else is junk IMHO especially the Rock Rivers and it's rebranded knock offs.

Unless you have a MA or HM card, The Rock River two stage is hard to beat for Service Rifle. It may take a wee bit of stoning, but it is crisp, fast and stays in tune. The Geisselle is still the best though. I use the Geisselle's on my space guns and when I still was able to see and shoot SR, I used them there.
JMHOFWIW

Who makes the best after market triggers for target shooting???? Also who sells them.

Geiselle, no question; an AR trigger to suite any shooting application.

You can buy 'em straight from Bill's website but I choose to buy from Holliger's White Oak Armament, mostly because I like John & he deals straight.

Tom Meyers has another option that gets well spoken of:

I have 3 jewels and am quite satisfied with them.I have never tried a geiselle but from what I have read they are super triggers.I also have a chip mcormick,it is fairly nice and way less money but it is 3 pounds forever.

Ya know, I wonder if we are all talking apples, oranges and rhubarb here. The several applications of the MSR for different sports does require a different type of trigger. Service rifle and precision long range or varmint shooting work best with a 2 stage trigger. NRA rules state that a SR trigger must be able to pick up and hold a 4 and a half pound weight. With the 2 stage, you can set the first stage to pick up 3-3 1/2 pounds on the first stage and have about 1 pound + on the second stage. I imagine that the "run fast- shoot a lot" type sports would work best with a really crisp single stage trigger that may be a bit heavy for Service Rifle. So, when you talk about a favorite anything; I guess it would be appropriate to reference the application. I wonder if it would also be relevant to tell us your skill level or classification; so that we can have an idea as to the strength of your comments. After all anyone can be a High Master "Tapatalker".
Me, I hold a Master classification in the various NRA high Power sports.

Craig,
I think being a High Master is quite an achievement, but they're more competition than the NRA. Certainly not slamming them, but that in itself doesn't make all of them more trigger knowledgeable than another person.
