I don't know if the AUSA would prosecute a wire fraud charge, but you don't know how many other fraud victims might be out there.

I'd bet there is a special agent out there somewhere working for working for one agency or another who is bored and in need of a real case to work.

If you had the real ting in hand, you can take a flashlight and hold it to the back, and the differences in ink will show thru on the front. NY used to have those crappy ID's. Worst on the east coast except NJ/CT. Easy to fake.

What's really funny (scary) is if you google his address and check out the street view. Looks like he does a fair amount of shipping/receiving by the boxes on the curb...and the bedsheets covering all the windows of the house are a bit disconcerting as well...
