Anything other than a Nightforce?

I really like the line of Nightforce optics. But they are definitly on the pricy side, but again you usually get what you pay for.
I am looking to scope my 6mmBR. I'll probably end up mounting an NX8 4-32 power.
Just wondering what else I should possibility consider to possibly keep the price down around 1000 or so. This is sorta a secondary rifle and would like to keep the cost down a bit.

Nightforce BR 8-32x used on here. Usually around $1000. Sometimes the 12-42x for a little more.

8-40x50 Burris is one hell of a scope for it's price point. I own
one, and it's not for sale. It is on the heavy side if your sweating
making weight on a build.

Save your money for a scope equal to your best one. Rifles come and go, but I always keep my optics.

If your shooting percision you might reconsider the NX8. The NX8 has 1/4 MOA clicks. Almost everyone uses 1/8 click scopes.

It depends on what you will be using the gun for. Benchrest, casual plinking, other?
For Benchrest, you will need 0.05 MIL or 1/8 MOA turrets. The Tract is a great optic,. comparable to Nightforce if not a bit better, but it is FFP and has 0.1 MIL or 1/4 MOA adjustments. Fr the price is the best scope out there.
I have the sightron SIII 4-32 on my FTR rifle and has served me well, but it is definitely NOT a Nightforce. However, at about $800-1000, it is your best bet.

If you want to go a bit higher, look at the Delta Stryker and Trijicon Tenmile , both 5-50x56. Great optics, perfect magnification for 600-1000 yard f-class or benchrest, and both around $1200-$1500 in the classifieds. Good luck

Buying scopes is sorta like buying a boat, you start small then end up big.

World class optic's = Nightforce comp for about $2k
