I posted same question in the varmint/hunting section I forgot this place was here. Not much feedback in varmint section so I will try here too. Anyone have something good or bad to say about the accupoint scopes? I am considering a 2.5-10x56 for a calling rifle but have not had experience with them at all.

I did try the google thing. Found a good bit of information, but still nothing real conclusive. Some people seem to think the glass is good, some don't. Some like the illumination, some don't. It is pretty hard for me to put much faith in other people's reviews unless there is a vast majority going one way or other on the subject. You just never know how much experience the guy on the other end of the keyboard has. If all they have ever used was complete junk then sure anything better is going to look great. I am possibly replacing a 2.5-10x50 euro diamond with this and I guess i just need to get one and see what it's like. The euro was fine but a friend bought my rifle and everything that was on it so I have a new project to work on now. thanks for the help.

I have a bit of experience with the Trijicon Acog's, I own a few of them and they are fantastic for their application. I have a 5.5x50 that has fantastic clarity-they really shine in poor lighting conditions where that Chevron glows bright and helps you get on target very quick. They get an A+ from me and I own illuminated Zeiss and Kahles scopes and the Trijicon never needs batteries !!
