Anyone with 270 WSM loads

Got a new toy (Sako A7)and wanted to see if anyone had any info for powder choice, bullets ect.
This will be a light weight hunter

Any help would be much appreciated

This load is safe in my Rem 700 SPS. Other rifles could be different. Start low and procede with caution.

Thank you for some help with powder to start. I have to many different powders to choose from so this helps narrow it down

Tried a new load today... 140 gr Sierra hpbt GameKing, 70.0 gr Retumbo, COAL 2.700. Found that RL22 was giving me a lot of carbon so switched to Retumbo.

Light rain, didn`t chrono. Printed 3 inch high at 100 metres, 2 high at 200, 5 low at 300. Got the 1/2 inch (0.45 moa) three shot group at 110 yds shown below.

Mine is a sako as well. 140 accubonds with reloader 17 powder at 61 grains gives me 3250. I get ejector marks at 3400!

I have tried Imr and H4350 as well as RL 19, 17, 25 and all gave great accuracy but not as fast as RL 17. 17 has the speed and accuracy. I have 400 rds down the tube and it is sub moa as long as you do your part. It likes a tight grip on the bench our it jumps. These rifles are so light, but awesome to carry.

I get ejector marks before I get scary flat primers. Using winchester brass and wolfe primers.
