Anyone using Protektor rear bag for fclass? Dr bag vs Deluxe etc?

Trying to decide which bag would be best for my 22lb f-open .284 with mild recoil. Plan is to have it made with 3/4" spacing and 1.25" tall ears.

Is there much difference going from the plan jane Bunny (short ear) bag vs the Delux Bumble bee or the
Dr. bag?

For open, you probably aren't going to be bag squeezing. I'd recommend bigger/heavier over smaller/lighter. I use a Dr. bag.

I have a DR for both F-Open and F-T/R because it is a very heavy bag with a hollow underside so it sits flat and is very stable. I don't bag squeeze for either F-Open or F-T/R. I feel that my guns track better with the DR than the others I've tried.

Thank you for the replies! Looks like it is going to be a Dr bag for the .284.

Which would you recommend as a squeeze bag for a tactical 260?

You will notice on many of the "very used" bags, that the bag starts to bulge in the middle, thereby lowering the bag height. Ask them to stitch another layer of leather around the INSIDE of the front and sides of the bag, this won't stop it, however, it does slow it down considerably! Also I have 2 rear bags, mainly for uneven ground. One has a 1" bottom the other a 1/2" bottom>>> that extra 1/2" comes in pretty handy most of the time!
