anyone use Tubb Final Finish Bore Lapping System? or TMS?

if used the 223 lapping kit in a AR, and the 22lr kit, both seemed to work well for me.

i just ordered a savage LRPV 223 and will probably lap that as well.

i havent used the TMS kit before but im thinking of useing it on the 223 and a 243wssm

any thoughts?

Morpheus may be 100% correct! Are you having accuracy issues? "Wearing In, may be Wearing Out. I'm open to pros and cons regarding this procedure. Has it helped accuracy regarding any newer barrel? Cliffy

All it does is lap a non lapped barrel. Not only polishing the barrel like a normal lap, but the throat as well. Something a factory hand lap doesn't.

The TMS kit is only fireing 2 laping shots every 100 to 200 rounds to keep the throat smooth and keep fire cracking to a minimum.

I used the 223 kit on a cheep Wilson 16" m4 light barrel. This gun now shoots 2" or less @ 300 y

acording to the rewiews at midway and Brownells along with a few shooting sites they all say the same thing.

I just haven't seen many reviews on the Tms kit
