Anyone use a C-H 444 press? Opinions on that press?

I haven't used the 444 but did use their three station and Magnum version, lost the 3 station in a divorce(she was a shooter also) and the magnum sat too high on the bench for me(vertically challenged). Both loaded ammo nicely. Watch for wear on the pivot pins. The 444 was a great pistol loading press in it's day as you didn't have to change dies and could have the measure mounted on the press.

Been using mine since the 60s, could not afford a Star and loaded thousands of 45acp and 38 wadcutters on it. Doesn't have near the leverage of a co-ax, but does fine for smaller cases. Any thing in the way of handgun shells that don't get loaded on the 3 Dillion presses like the heavier carbine and hunting still come across it. I size and deprime on a Harrell's and then bell, seat and crimp all in a row, love it for that,IMG_20210227_134343587.jpg

I use mine primarily for pistol calibers (45 ACP, 38 super, 40 S&W, 9 mm, 357 magnum, etc) and it serves that purpose well. What it does not do well is size rifle calibers, not enough leverage for my aging body.

I've had one for at least 30 years. I used it for loading pistol ammo for a while...but now I use it basically as a turret press that I keep misc. dies set up on.
I use one or two stations for expander mandrels....one for a bullet puller and maybe one for a decapping die etc. Also use it to resize smaller cases such as 6br. It does a great job and I would not part with it.
