anyone tried hodgdons superperformance powder in 250 savage ai or 22-250 ai

just looking for starting loads for 65 gr sierra ,224 and 100-117 gr bullets in the 250 ai.

Check the latest reloading imfo for the 220 swift on hodgdons site and see if they mention the use of that powder,start low work up as always.I just checked the site and they only list the 22-250 and no imfo on the swift so I say it shouldnt be tried above normal 22-250 loads and the loads given are the hottest they publish and would suggest you abandon the idea above normal pressures they say for the 22-250.

sounds like good advise jon.talked to hodgdon and they said if the powder won't exceed other powders by 75fps they don't list it. doesn't mean it won't work .
