Anyone tried 110 Vmax in 30BR?

I will watch this with interest as I just got my action back from being D&T and I have some 110 zmax bullets

Well, regardless of what I hear, when the matches are done end of October I will screw the 6brx barrel off my Red gun and put a 30br on for the the winter score shoots. I will try them regardless of what I read from others and post it.I am just curious what others have been able to do with them.

Speer 125 TNT are a fantastic 30 BR option.

Plan to try both the 110 gr. Hornady V-max and 110 gr. Nosler Armagedon once I get my rifle. Don't have any H-4198 but have the other Accurate and V V powders to work with.

Depends on your reason for wanting to use them but I've tried them, and the speer 125 shot mucho better for me. Frankly, the speer is hard to beat...and it's cheap but that's just a bonus.

I dont remember if I've tried them in an 18 but they're fine in a 17.5 and I'm pretty sure they'd be fine in an 18 also.

my friend uses the 110 V-Max in his 308 varmint rig. The bullet is very destructive on squirrel, PDogs, coyotes, ect. He is pushing the 110 V-Max at around 2750 to 2800fps out of his 24" barrel. His rifle is pretty much a stock Remington 700 VLS, he has only added an H&S Tactical stock and a trigger job. His groups are right around 3/4's to 1" at 100 yards. He will be taking this rifle on our varmint hunt in May 2007, so he just ordered 800, 110 V-Max bullets for the trip.
