Great scope! the 1 area the NF competition wins hands down is the eye box the Vortex is even touchier than the NF. but turrets, glass, reticle over all build and PRICE it's a really great choice

Have you tried it at 60X for clarity? I hear it's better than the NF in mirage, only hear that . I'm between that one and another NF with the FCR reticle.

Clarity wise its not as good as the NF comp, especially on 55-60 power. In bad mirage it is better on the lower powers. It worked real well at the Deep Creek Championship shoot in the mirage there with the ASR cap. I took it off my Dasher and put it on a long range hunting 7 Saum and have been shooting steel targets 1000 to 1640 yards with the 195 Bergers. Been holding POI very good so far and staying on when dialing up and down. It has the ECR reticle and it worked well on paper too at 1200 yds. Great reticle for long range shooting!

It isn't, the mirage is defiantly worse on the vortex at high magnification

How does it compare to a NF Br 12-42? I've looked through 1 comp scope two years ago and wasn't overly impressed.
