Anyone shooting a 284 with a .322 neck?

Been thinking of trying a 284 for long range F-class. Want to use a pre fit Savage barrel. The only chambers I see offered use a .322 diameter neck, which is larger than most shooters recommend. I don't want to buy a reamer, without knowing that I will stick with the 284.

Is anyone shooting a .322 neck, and is it causing problems, or working alright? How much of a reduction in brass life can I expect with the larger neck?

I have one of the CBI 284 win barrels. it shoots well and I anneal on every firing. I only have 2 shots on my brass at this time. I am still playing with it for now really.

I just remembered that I had a handful of foulers that I have shot about 10 times. Those got annealed every time or every other time when I did the others. I have not had any splits and the the primer pockets are tight but these were foulers and a little lighter charge than the others. I honestly think the big neck does anything hurting other than work the brass. So if you anneal after every shot or every other shot it should not matter. But that is just me. Matt
