A buddy is trying to talk me into getting into swaging bullets, so we wont have to ever worry about being out of jacketed bullets again. Problem is, I have enough to probably shoot me the rest of my life already. I have been casting bullets for 35+ year, and have had good success with that, as of late have Powder coated some rifle bullets with gas checks added and they shoot really well, at nearly jacketed bullet velocities. Any feedback, good or bad, appreciated on the Blackmon equipment.

Dr Blackmon makes good dies and related staging equipment at very reasonable price. Properly made bullets on his dies will shoot as well as any custom bullet.
You will find that custom bullet making will open up a whole new world of bulletmaking compared to cast. If you have the patience to make cast bullets shoot well, you should be able to do the same with swaging although you will still be learning as long as you keep making bullets. Don’t do it to save money though, you will never have enough dies, presses, punches, jackets, lead wire, cores, etc. and you will probably want to keep your casting equipment because it’s fun too.
