Anyone know why Savage stopped making the 111 in

300 RUM? It seems to have been only one year of production. I've seen posts in other places about blown up 116s, and the smokeless muzzleloaders, but nothing that points to a real production problem. I just picked up one of these, and only being one year production, now makes me a little leery.

My guess is that it didn't sell. I wouldn't worry about it hold RUM pressure.
