Anyone know where I might get a 22 hollow pointer?

These used to be sold by Sinclair, back in the day. Anyone know who made it, if it is still available? It made a hollow point and made the bullet much more uniform. I have seen cheap ammo shoot like the best grade rimfire when this was used. All help and replies appreciated.

Great article! Since they recently stopped making SK Sub-Sonic ammo, my personal favorite in my rifle, I will keep this die in mind.

I use Paco Kelley's kit once in a while:

After I slug a rifle bore, I can then "bump" the size up to get close or dead on to the bore diameter. The best slugs I feel I can use are those pulled from the ammunition I'll be testing:

I made the "inertia puller" for only a couple of $$.

Years ago I purchased a hollow pointer attachment for my Forster case trimmer. Worked on all calibers with a collet. Not sure if it's still offered, but it's one of those neat little tools that was priced very reasonable, and works like a charm.

Here's a pictorial breakdown of the parts used, if interested:

It helps a lot to put some painters tape over the exposed rear face of the cartridge, only to keep it from escaping when in use.
The bumpers provide a soft landing for the bullet once it is released, and all the parts were purchased from Menard's in Rice Lake, WI, but I'm sure most hardware stores will have these parts in their plumbing section.

I have both a Paco tool and a Waltz die. The Waltz die is an outstanding piece of craftsmanship which I installed in a Lee hand press. Once you adjust it for the depth and diameter of the hollow point you want, set it and you are good to go. It’s exceptionally easy to use, in fact my 6 year old grandson is my official hollow pointer.
The Paco tool does a fine job as well and you can create a wide variety of point shapes and hollow points. It takes some practice to develop a consistent routine however. The other issue, with me at least, is I have a low comfort level for whacking on loaded rounds.
