Anyone know anything about Norinco ammo?

Any information will be appreciated.

I have a thread about how to determine if an AR barrel is .223 or 5.56 that got kicked to the gunsmithing basement for some reason, I see lots of threads live a long life on the main message board that are far more gunsmith related, so lets see what happens with this one.

I fired this ammo in the barrel mentioned above, out of 30 rounds one blew out a primer, two leaked around the primer, and a couple had printed in the ejector, most looked ok.

The case on the left seems normal, second from left printing from ejector, third from left leaking around primer, and fourth from left blown primer and heavy impression from ejector, I am assuming all pressure related.

This is the ammo, you may not see it but the case on the left has a questionable crimp and what the heck is going on with the one on the right? Yes, that is a hole or void in the primer.
This is gun show ammo I bought years ago, I did some reading that others had similar problems with pressure, has anyone here had issues with this ammo or know any thing about it?

I have pretty well sidelined this ammo, I put it in a box marked "use only in actual zombie apocalypse".

Well...it's made in China. Next question.
Yeah, I get it, if you’ll notice the head stamp has 92 on it. I had only been married seven years had two kids wasn’t quite as flush with Cash as I am now.
I guess that is proof positive, buy a bargain get a bargain.

I have some Norinco ( 9mm , 7.62x39 )from the 90s before it was banned.... Never had problems with the AK ammo but I had a Glock that hated the 9mm ammo.... The AK ammo I trust because it's AK stuff the 9mm is loaded hot and even says which I don't believe a word from china " made to NATO spec " ....

Way back when, I used to buy that stuff to shoot HP matches with my Colt HBAR for 200yd reduced matches. You couldn't reload it that cheap, and it actually shot really well. Never had a reliability problem or primer issues like that and the brass was pretty good reloading too.
