Anyone have load data for .300 H&H using 200gr ELD-X and RL-22?

Been looking and haven't found much info online for this combo. Just got my new .300 H&H rifle and this is what I have to work with. If anyone has good data or can run it through a program, I would greatly appreciate it. Currently looking at working off noslers accubond load data. Thanks!

Since the .300 H&H is not beating down the doors of the shooting world currently, finding current data might be difficult.:( Load testing by the commercial manufacturers is usually concentrated on those cartridges which will yield a higher rate of return dollar-wise. The lack of call for load data for the .300 H&H places it low on the list.

I enjoy loading for the .300 H&H since I've used it for hunting for a couple of decades. The outdated design doesn't impede my being able to harvest game on demand. But unfortunately I don't use your particular combination.

What does come into play is the SAAMI freebore and lack of throat. I suggest that you either cast your chamber to get the sizes first or ask your gunsmith for assistance to establish what your chamber looks like. Either way you need to know the usable magazine length and the length to the lands if you can establish that.

I've checked back through some of my past data and your choice of the 200 gr. Accubond will yield acceptable results as long as you pay close attention to the rules of reloading. Start low and work up slowly watching for signs of pressure. Shooting over a chronograph can also provide you with clues as to where you are in the development.

As a reasonable guide, I use the 200 gr. Partition seated at 3.600" OAL in a SAAMI spec chambered rifle. Notice that this is OAL and NOT the CBTO measurement. It fits and feeds from my magazine without a hitch and is extremely accurate in the 2,900 - 2,950 upper node with three powders. Accuracy is 1-1/2", 3-shot groups at 150 yards... with open sights from a field rest.;):)
