I am going to load 77gr Sierra MK with CFE 223 powder.
Why? Because I have been able to find this powder often.
This rifle barrel (AR) from Stag is 1:7 twist 24" Bull
The range in Hodgdon reloading manual is very broad, 22.5 thru 24.3. thats almost twenty .1 increments. I would appreciate if someone with gun and has worked up a load would share their info.
otherwise being faced with soooo many increments I would most likely waste a lot of time and powder. if no one has this combo, what is the best approach? just select a few ranges of powder?
if thats the only approach recommended, I was going to load 3 rounds of 5 ranges in .1 increments
22.8 - 22.7
23.1 - 23.3
23.4 - 23.6
23.7 - 23.9
24.0 - 23.2
thanks
