Anyone have a Sako TRG22 action wrench ???

need to remove a very tight barrel on my TRG22. had it clamped, rosined, heated, no luck. Please advise what is available. Thanks, jim

Would like to try and save it; but, may not be able to. I have been told that if you cut the barrel right in front of actiom it relieves pressure and helps in removal. I guess you could set it back and rechamber, just lose some lenght which is no bid deal .

Put the rig in the barrel vise....Use a shop light with an outside security bulb in it ..Heat the receiver carefully while trying to break the barrel out....The bulb will generate more heat than you think..Be cautious...LT

Oh,didn't I see one of those wrenches in the tool dept of Sears. Yes, it was in the plumbing section and had a long red handle and those nasty looking jaws. Ha Ha it is not Christmas and it sounds like you will have to machine yourself a wrench to fit that baby. I'll bet that was not figured in theprice of that job. Just think of it as a capital expendature you want ever have to make again. I'll bet you $100 bucks that Beretta the parent company of SAKO now want sell you the wrench you need.
