Anyone have a 6mm-300WSM?

Does anyone have a 6mm-300WSM? I've tried researching, but am having little results. I realize that it's an extremely overbore cartridge, but I'm intrigued by it. I'm curious as to what it's capable of. I used QuickLOAD to get a rough idea, but would like to know some real results people are getting.

Greg Tannel had one back before Jamison did what he did to Winchester.
He built a 6.5-WSM for me around that time also.I don't believe he will chamber anything based on a WSM case any more.
If I remember correctly I do think he liked it.You should give him a call.

Greg's a great guy and will steer you in the right direction.

When I saw the title of a 6mm-300WSM I thought "you can't be serious" - but I guess you just never know what people would like to try out. I am not sure what the application would be, but it seems like barrels would burn up real fast with that cartridge unless you shoot real mild loads from it - and why shoot a 6mm-300WSM if you are going to do that?

Rebel,
I talked with Greg tonight about a Hall/6ppc rifle problem I'm having.
We also talked about his 6-WSM,he still has it and still has the reamer.
He is currently shooting coyotes out past 1000yds with his 20-250/55Berger combo.
I guess Greg just likes to see what is possible with a well built rifle and a vld.

Who doesnt! ;)

This sounds pretty wild. The 6.5 WSM would be a blast, literally i guess. What kind of powders would be used with these things?
