Anybody using H4198

My local shop sent my powder order home with a friend and instead of H4895 they put H4198 in the bag. I have never used H4198 and was wondering what it is intended for and what type of results does it give.

I use it in 7.62x39 & 30ppc. Excellent accuracy & better velocity than anything else that I've tryed.

33.4 grains in my 30br seems to make X's seem easy. ;)

Somebody let that one out of the bag several years ago. Now everybody shoots it!! But I been foolin around with RE7 in the 30BR. Not ready to switch yet.

Excellent powder for reduced loads in a 30-06. 35 grs. of 4198 with a 150 gr. bullet will equal 30-30 ballistics. A very accurate, low recoiling load combination. This came from an article in a back issue of "The American Rifleman", so it's not something I'm making up.

I've used it in my 03's and an original 03-A4 with great success.

My favorite for .222 @ 52gr Sierra HPBT. Seems unaffected by temperature extremes.
