Anybody tried the RDF's on critters ?

Kermit, I'm curious also, Hoping that someone will give a report!!!!!! I'm getting ready to load some up for my 223 5r Remington. Idaho-45

70 RDFs on coyotes work very well. Was shooting them 3000 out of a 223AI, frontal shots dropped them in their tracks. Side chest shots put them down really well and didn't blow out the far side bad at all. Shot one coyote at 30yds with a 140rdf at 3150, blew a BIG hole in that one.

I smoked a small coyote at about 120 yards that walked across my range while doing load development with a 70gr and it was in and out. No signs of fragmentation or expansion. As closed as the tips are it’s pretty much what I expected.

I doubt they’d open up or come apart unless bone is hit. I wouldn’t intentionally use them for critter control.

The Custom Competitions on the other hand are devastating on varmints.
