Anybody remember these? Win 22lr wood box

Cabelas was selling them in May 2014 when they opened a new store in Delaware.

Looks a little older than that. My mom gave me one probably 10-15 years ago for Christmas.

I've been shooting lots of .22 ammo since the early 60's and I don't ever remember a wooden Win. box. Of course I'm getting old enough now that maybe my memory is a bit off!

As others have mentioned, Cabela's has been selling them on and off for the past year.

The cardboard box has a date code on it.
I remember when you bought the wooden box and all it had in it was 500 rounds of 22LR. The ones they sell today are just sales gimmicks.
