Anybody know if piedmont 600 range is upgraded & finished

Jan fun match was cancelled because the target crew road being messed up. I assume that was the upgrading but I don't know that.
No talk on the piedmont site of it.

No ,it’s not complete, I swung by there last Thursday just to see, there working on it. They have the dirt built up there where the new benches will be. It’ll be nice when it’s finished I’m sure.

I am not the official spokesperson for Piedmont. But, from what I have gathered, the work on the range will not stop the scheduled 600 yard matches this year. They are leaving the existling benches, pad, and shelter in place to use for matches this year as the new pad, benches, and shelter are built in front of the old ones. The new expanded shooting area will be put into use later this season. Pretty smart planning in my book! If someone “in the know” has more info. or if I have misspoken, dont hesitate to correct me. As to my knowledge Sam is correct. Grading is complete, now the pad and shelter. IF we can keep this nice weather. The 196” of rain (LOL) has kept things moving like a snail. Can’t wait. A great range getting better.
