Anybody go to Shippensburgs Ground Hog Match?

The wind may have been a deterrent.

Ya' think? I live in a valley and the morning of the match my weather station says there was a sustained wind average of 24.2 MPH with frequent gusts as high as 35.7 MPH from the NNW. The Shippensburg range is on top of a hill and NNW is close to straight across from right to left. It was enough to make me stay home when the weather goddess on FOX 43 said winds would be 25-35.

The sadist in me would like to see the scores.
Dave according to Tony Boyer that's when you need to be shooting . He won't shoot with no wind. 😳

It sure was howling at the 1000 yard match at Reade Range Saturday, more than one person didn't get all 10 on paper during the shoot off.

Joe and I drove by Shippensburg for a look see at 10 am after working out some business at Leroy's on the 25th.
Seems to me that they are all good to go for GH matches on the last Saturday of the month. Yes it was windy and not too many competitors but what do you expect for their second match and it was Memorial Day weekend also, I hope to shoot this June match.
