I carver with a 7 head moulder five days a week.

I used to enjoy whittling. Made the knife, too. Its 1084 heat treated to about 58 hRc and a 24° inclusive edge angle.

Wish I still had that knife, but haven't picked up a carving knife in a long time.

The Charlotte show is coming up in April. It's a great family event to see 1k+ carving ranging from beginner to expert. Venders with knives wood & experience.

Before my neck arthritis took over, un finished cabinet door, and merganser, walnut band saw box, canvasback candy bowl, My kids and grand kids have most of my carvings and furniture now
