Any Thompson Center Shooters Who Can Help?

I need to put swivels and sling on my Thompson Center Encore Pistol that now has the "rubber" grips. Can't find the stocks and swivels that I need. Called all the obvious dealers, no help. I guess what I need to know if can it be done. The big problem is the pistol grip stud. The Contender one won't fit the Encore.

I have one that I just put a set of Pachmayer grips on mine. I don't want or need a sling. But when I put mine on, they are a solid one piece rubber grip with a hole through them to let the mounting bolt go into the gun. I believe you could just drill a hole in the grip, put some glue on the swivel screw and be done with it. I am putting a picture I found on the web, and it looks like that's what they did. I also saw a TC sling swivel set on Ebay. But they seem a little pricey at $30. The front mount seems to be with the sling swivel bolt put through a hole drilled in the forearm.

That said, there are some guys on this forum that are far more knowlegable than me. I'm sure one or two will chime in soon.

Find someone to silver solder or whatever a sling stud to the existing bolts.
Done it that way years ago....
