Any PD spots in Southwest U.S. for upcoming trip?

Hello,

Heading to Southwest for a road trip and some warmth!

Thinking of bringing a rifle; well, just because it would be nice to shoot
not lying in snow...

Any suggestions on PD spots- SoCal, New Mexico, Arizona, WY? Elsewhere?
I normally go to ND but it's cold there

Kinda random I know. Wiling to travel bit more on a road trip...
Any info or locales appreciated.

Might be a little early right now if that's when your going. May not be too many out right now. However, checkout the website; Ultimate Prairie Dog Hunting . One of these guys might be able to tell you current conditions in their area and help you with a hunt.

You are a little early, but also keep in mind that in CA they started a general lead bullet hunting ban last year so now it is all copper or NTX style for varmints.

ah, thanks for the heads up. l have alot of loaded traditional
bullets so have to rule out CA, I guess...

Remember...some States..on public land close p/dog shooting from April 15-June 15

Private land is 24-7.....365 days a year.....

There are no p/dogs in Utah.........

Well, took couple rifles, on my road trip, from central ID (minus 5 deg here to +65 deg weather down south! ).

But I did not get out to PD territory on this trip. maybe near - Kingman AZ ?

I'll have to head back to X Dakota Territory in late May I guess - to get rid of all this loaded ammo.
