Any luck with Marlins new trigger

I am interested in getting into some 17 HMR shooting. I have read some poor reports on Marlins trigger on there 917's. I just read that they have a new trigger, the T-900. The gun I am looking at is the Marlin 917vs-cf. Any input would be appreciated.

im open to all gun manufacturers all but hi point ha ha.
i looked at the marlins nice looking guns and shoot good i have a 22lr.but savages accutrigger i like a lot so i got my17 in it.

I have a Marlin 917vsf and love it, in fact its the second one I've owned. I put the Rifle Basix trigger in both. You will be delighted at how crispy these things are for about $70.00. I had the 917vs and tried to upgrade with a cooper, however I soon learned how inherently accurate this round is because they all shoot very well. So I freed up some cash by selling the Cooper and bought another Marlin, put a used Ziess 4.5-14x44 and a RB trigger and away we went for less $ than I had in just the Cooper. I wish money wasn't an issue because I do miss looking at and handling that thing.
