Going to be down in that area around labor day and after and might bring my rifle if there is a place to shoot. Looking for 600-1000 yards and open to the public.

I found that place but unless you a member you can only shoot 300yds.

Palmetto Gun Club in Chas SC (outside of Summerville) required being certified re MOA comprehension/calculation to be able to engage past 300 to 700 iirc.
We were pretty flat (no kidding) on the coast and knowing your come ups and downs was a necessity. We had a school and housing inline w our range berms.

I think these guys may have closed shop. There was a 2-day NRL planned there, but it was just cancelled.
