Any Long Range BR in Texas?

Hey Ron. On the Long Range Shooters website they list 4 matches called Hi Power Benchrest. No 50 cal allowed. Looks like muzzle brakes are allowed. I guess it's something like Fclass benchrest. If they would knock off the 22lb weight I expect you would have enough .338's we could all shoot.

Okay - That's new news but good to know. - Thanks !!!

Several years ago, we tried 600 and 1,000 yard benchrest in Texas. There was not enough interest to keep it alive. There are a few matches where we shoot clays on a board at 400 yards. A couple are fairly close to San Antonio. You can go to www.texasbenchrest.com for information about these matches. Over near Huntsville, TX, there are some matches where they shoot 2" shatterblast targets at either 250 or 400 yards. Out near San Angelo, TX there is a range where there are some 1,000 yard steel target shoots. There are a couple of other long range type matches held around the state as well.
Additionally, there are several venues that hold F-Class matches around the state.
But, there are no registered or club 600 and 1,000 yard benchrest matches being held at this time.
