Any Ideas on converting a Rem 700 action With DBM inlet to BDL

Re: Rem 700 DBM to BDL

Yeah, there's one pretty good one. The gap between the rails is machined wider than the BDL. so rounds don't feed out of a BDL box. They pop out too easy.

I haven't tried one of the aftermarket boxes.

I did convert an ADL box and follower to centerfeed that worked perfect. It took 2 tries after scrapping the 1st box. I had to use an ADL box because it's taller than the BDL and has enough height to convert to centerfeed.

A cosmetic problem is the DBM release cuts in the bottom of the stock.

Can be done, but may not be worth the trouble.

Good luck, Tom
