Any factory 6.5x47 rifles?

Does anyone make a factory 6.5x47 Lapua rifle? The closest I have seen is Savages in 6.5 Creedmoor and the Tikka T3 Sport (beautiful rifle) in 260 rem.

I will say one thing. If you buy or have a savage you can change the barrel at home with just a few tools. Then you have a factory rifle in that cartridge.Check out the barrel offerings form mcgowen and never look back. Just make sure you get a newer savage with the accu trigger.

John, I have 2 savage rifles now, one with a Krieger barrel and one with an ER shaw. I also have a spare short action that I want to build something 6.5mm on. But I was just curious if anyone made a factory 6.5x47.

I am not aware of a 6.5x47L factory rifle.

it's very easy to change the barrel out on a Savage.

Grunig and Elmiger does. They worked with Lapua in designing the cartridge. Not cheap.

What size shank is your savage I have a brand new barrel I'm just now doing a ladder test on , I have way to many projects and I just haven't had time to mess with it, it is a small shank, 1/8 twist varmit contour, I would sell it. if interested let me know
