Sold my one and only 308 about 6 mos ago and miss it now. I have a metric ton of reloading components for that caliber that I held on to, so looking to get back into it. I never see anyone ask about or use this rifle on any forum. Does that tell me everything I need to know, maybe? Any firsthand experience on this platform would be great.
The other option is a new savage model that came out. I have always gotten accurate savages and if they are not they are easy to bed and rebarrel. The savage is a model 10FCP, 24" 5R threaded barrel in a HS stock with DBM. I do have a 1 piece base and set of rings I could use on it. I would probably put a 2.5-10pst on the savage and call it good for the same money spent on the bare cz 750. If I did get the cz I have a bushnell 4200 tact 6-24 on a varmint AR upper in the safe that has not been on a lower since last year. The cz would have to wear that optic till the bank account recovered.
