Anti-Cant level for Picatinny rail

G'day folks,
I'm still in the hunt for a quality anti-cant level that attaches to a picatinny rail.
I have now tried US Optics and a Wheeler and been disappointed with both.

Has anyone tried a Warne scope level? The Uni Skyline that just attaches to the scope.
It has the feature of being able to be pushed in to stow it when not in use but the moveable bits on these levels seem to be the weak points... They just allow play to come in and effect the accuracy of the level.

I really wanted one that went on the rail but this could be an alternative if there no other Picatinny rail mount ones out there that are any good.
How about the Accuracy 1st one? It also attaches to the scope.
Interesting as it is a curved format and uses a ceramic ball instead of an air bubble.

The US Optics would not go to true level when opened, seems to be play in hinge though it attaches firmly to Pic rail.
The Wheeler one {Sorry Alex if it is an invention of yours} is rubbish...!
It is made of aluminium with steel screws that gall when put under load of trying to set up the level.
Very fiddly to try to find the balance between the small leveling screw and the clamping screw.
As the clamping screw is tightened it pulls the level out of level so you then have to go back and adjust the leveling screw and then re-tighten the clamping screw... and so on!
Definitely needs to have been made of steel or at least some T6 instead of the soft Chinese stuff that it is made with.
Use anti-seize for sure if you have one as I nearly wrecked the threads for the leveling screw {galled} and only with patience and lube was I able to back it out and restore the threads.
Also found that the opening and closing was making it read erratically as it just did not seem to properly clamp to the rail and there was some movement up and down which meant that sometimes it was level and then half a bubble off!
My SPUHR mounts have a small level built into the base and that was how I picked up that the Wheeler was off... Also the level on my Rodzilla said the same thing... It agreed with the level in the scope mount.

My favorite is the Flatline Ops Tango. It is accurate, reliable and tucks away when not needed. The adjustment screws can be tough to reach around scope turrets if you don't pay attention to where you attach it but that's my only beef with it.

I've thought about getting a rail mounted level but decided a scope mounted level is quicker to see and is more in line with my line of sight.

Also I mount my scope level with a plumb line and level with my action. I don't care that my scope base is.

As mentioned above the scope mounted would be a better option. Have seen too many rail mounted being off due to maching tolorences where you can make sure the scope mounted are on as you can set it perfectly with a level or plumb line. Also they are easier to see from behind the scope as you can see them in your weakside eye while still behind the scope. The pics below shows how it sits right over the parallax knob and out of the way in front of the rings.

Thanks Mate, just ordered one up from Midway... Hopefully it is a better product than the Wheeler...
Getting to be $$$ "You have to kiss a lot of frogs before you find a prince...!"
I have also taken a punt and ordered one of the Accuracy 1st scope mount ones as well..
Just have to see how well they work off the mound; my F Open comp is hotting up and I am only two points up on second place and his Dasher is a Thrasher but my Vanilla 6BR took him on Saturday last... {:~)

If you're shooting from rests, check out Tubb's scope-mount level; it has a long tube and is very sensitive, probably too sensitive for sling shooting.

I have the MK Machining ones and have been pleased with them. To be honest though, I'm not really sure how much faith to put in any of them.

I've had his 30mm version and current run his 34mm. The 30mm was the same as the LoPro Vortex.

The 34mm is great. It's very sensitive.

I am not a fan of the electronic versions. Used one years ago when another company came out with them. Tried to like it but the lights blinking and moving colors was actually tougher for me to use than a standard bubble level. Try it and see if you like it but I would never use one again.

Send it.....the bubble is no where near as quick, and you can see the light without even looking. The bubble cant even compete. JMO

Had a look at them, looks good though Brownells is out of stock, no back order...
Yes, have one of them on a Bushnell, it shares the "Fiddly" label with some other varities of scope mounted levels that I have used. Have to be careful as easy to loose level when tightening them as the clamping screw tends to pull the plastic. I also have to be sure that it is really tight as initially it went out of level after being pushed by the foam lining of my hard case on it's first trip to the range. A "dab" of Locktight "Bearing Mount" smeared inside made sure that that did not happen again.

"Fiddly"? What is that? Those are the Vortex Lo Pro and there is no plastic. It's an aluminum body, Not plastic. Any tube mounted can shift as you tighten but if you snug it to the bubble touching the line then snug it and it goes to level and stays. They also do not loosen and no loctite is needed. I have ones that have been on my scopes for years and no issues.

I stand corrected and pulled out the scope with the Vortex level on it, not the Bushnell but a Night Force NXS 8-32 that I recently pulled and replaced with a Kahles 10-50...
It has a two piece clamping assembly with the whole bubble exposed and was on the scope when I bought it.
I did have one such as pictured and had thought it was the same but it had a plastic mount ring... Moved it on for about $15
Does the loop on the level just spring open to get it on the scope?
The one I have is definitely a Vortex {same Logo} but there is a top and a bottom just like a scope mount ring.
Apologies all around... spoke to quickly.

Yup as mentioned just pops over the tube as it has flex and yes they do make a two piece which was the older version but they do still sell it. You can see them both on their site. The Lo Pro is more low profile and won't get in the way the larger two piece unit could possibly on some rifle/scopes.
