Anscutz 1411 to F-Open Low Profile

This project started about 7 years ago. I bought the Ansch. prone stock on eBay and whittled it a bit into a Palma rifle with a Barnard action and block and a Doan Trevor cheek pc. and scope rail. Then about 2 years ago I decided to retask the stock/action assembly into an F-Open rig. More whittling, gluing, sanding, body fillering, sanding, filling, sanding, more sanding...and sanding, forming, priming, sanding, painting, waiting, painting, painting...painting and before you know it, Bob's your uncle. Hey Uncle Bob,
Nice job - congrats! OF course it helps when you have the right tools and the practical "know how" which obviously you do!

That stock is like the lady when the beautician asked "what color was your hair originally"? She replies "I don't remember."

Current status of Barnard action. 5 years later (2021) retired 'Franken-schutz' stock and dressed it up in a super sexy Eliseo (Competition Machine, Inc.) F-Class stock in Marine Corp. Red. The only downside?...no excuses.
