Anschutz trigger on Pierce Action

Is it possible to install an Anschutz trigger, say a 5098 or 5018 on a Pierce Action?
If yes, would it need modifications or an adapter?

I believe there is a Bryce(?) adapter that can be bought to mount an Anschutz trigger to a Remington clone. A friend of mine sent his action off to the company to have it done. He told me parts of the trigger housing are cut off in the process.
