Trying to see how old my anschutz receiver is. Serial 74548A. Do not have original barrel. Thanks in advance.

Anschutz serial numbers are incremental but not the same for 54 sporters and 54 match (single shot) receivers and again different for 64, including Flobert models.

A five digit serial number suggests it's a 54 single shot receiver. Some seem to have had a letter but it's not clear why. The serial number 74548 on a single shot match 54 is from about 1969.
