My grandfather is getting out of the shooting sports and is offloading quite a few items. From his workshop:
Smallbore Silhouette stock designed for an Anschutz Model 54, homemade from American Walnut. The stock is glass bedded with the recoil lug in the bedding and metal bushings for the receiver screws. This stock is amazingly lightweight: 2lb 5.8oz., allowing for quite a robust barreled action & scope combination. It was completed, used in competition, then came back for a refinish and touch up job that was never completed. What is incredibly useful is not only the thumbhole configuration, but also a thumb rest/shelf just behind the bolt handle. The butt pad is a Pachmayr White Line. A light sand and refinish and it will be a beautiful stock on the firing line. A few measurements:
Weight: 2lb 5.8oz
Overall Length: 30 3/4"
Approx Length of Pull: 15"
Forearm Width: 2"
Barrel Channel Width: 1"
Asking $200 shipped.
