Anschutz 17p

I have an Anschutz 17p, essentially an exemplar with the plastic stock in 17hmr. It has been on a shelf in my gun safe forever and a day. The plastic floor plate of the magazine was broken, rendering the magazine useless. I have no idea what caused that but I need a magazine. Is it correct that there is an aftermarket magazine that will work or can be made to work? Any help with my magazine dilemma would be greatly appreciated

Not a direct answer but it may be helpful.

For the 22 LR Exemplar and 64P some people use a magazine from a Savage. You can probable find out which one by Googling. It is an almost but not quite fit. The alignment slots on the back of the magazine are spaces slightly differently than that slots on an Anschutz magazine.

Will it work? Kind of. Is it right? No.

The Savage magazine was a little high in my 64P and I had to finesse the bolt past the magazine. I don't like to do stuff like that.

Maybe I am just not paying close enough attention or I just have my head up my hind end but everything I am seeing is for 22 lr mags.

Ok, a little head up the back side problem. For anyone that may need the same product, I have place an order at nordicmarksman. It appears they are the original plastic base plate, but the web site shows 180 available. Hopefully the purchase will go smooth.

Nordicmarksman is great. I am always amazed at the Anschutz parts they have.
