Anschutz 1532 trigger guard help.

I have recently acquired an Anschutz 1532 and went to adjust the tension on the action bedding screws. The trigger guard seems to be a separate piece from the bottom metal and one of the action bedding screws at the rear is underneath the trigger guard in such a way that it can't be adjusted without removing the trigger guard. The front of the trigger guard seems somehow locked into the bottom metal but I can't figure out how to put pressure or which way to put or pull pressure to get it loose from the bottom metal and I don't want to damage or break it....Any ideas please????

Remove the wood screw that holds the trigger guard to the pistol grip...Pull the trigger guard slightly toward the muzzle and unscrew it! It takes longer to tell you how than it does to do it. Just be careful to not scratch up the pistol grip.

Joe...You're PLAIN AWESOME!! Thank you so very much for your help....it worked and I'm able to access the rear action screw now. Hope someday I can somehow return the favor
Very Best Wishes
Dennis
