I asked in their chat if I could shop/pickup in person, no response? I also asked my brother(IT company in northwest IA) if any of the guys he works with shops there? No one knew of it? So I stayed away.

Website is structured almost exactly as the last one ?'d on this forum.

2024 copyright date on website.

Have all powders in stock--just like everyone else?

Same with primers.

No address.

Doesn't show on https://stopgunscams.com/ yet, but........

Edit add: Excellent prices on powder, too.

It is a total scam - No reputable site will ask for CashApp, PayPal Friends and Family, or Venmo. Those payment options have no protection. I in my eagerness to purchase percussion caps made the mistake of using Midwest Reloads but managed to cancel the payment via my credit card company. I have learned my lesson!!!

Got a very bad feeling about placing an order through PayPal and not getting any sort of confirmation and decided to look at the BBB reviews before I went through with it and after reading other reviews I immediately cancelled my order and am very glad I did. Stay away from this company

People, we have explained over a dozen times how to spot scammers.

You can see the scam in less time than it takes to start a thread.

I do NOT want the name of a SCAM website in the title of a thread... because that potentially has this Forum connected to the scammers via Search Engines.

Again, again, if you are dealing with a new-to-you vendor:

1. Start out with the presumption that it is a SCAM SITE.

2. Check with Stopgunscams.com

StopGunScams.com

3. If no answer with #2, put a HUGE quantity of powder or primers in shopping cart, then check the payment options. If you see Zelle, Venmo, CashApp, Apple Pay, Bitcoin etc. RUN AWAY!!

4. Before giving ANY information (not even your email), delete everything in the cart.

FOLKS -- I want to be clear, I do NOT want people linking to scam sites here. If you are still confused after # 1-4 here, contact Forum Boss via PM. Do NOT start a thread with the bad site name in the title or a URL link in the text. Links to criminals can create black-listing for this Forum.

Good rule of thumb, for me: if a website has no name recognition, has no longevity as a vendor, isn't reasonably well-represented (via people's experiences with them) on various "top" forums, and if there's no way to gauge viability and quality through some sort of ratings/ranking system, then I have to assume they're suspect. Unless given clear and valid evidence to the contrary. And I'll only do business with shops that accept a legitimate tried-and-true form of payment that has good protections against fraud (ie, Visa, MC).

Keeps me safe (at least, safer), those steps. Though it likely causes me to miss some of the better deals. I'm okay with that.
